Samson's debut full-length production 'Village Idiot' directed by Nadia Fall and produced by Ramps on the Moon, Royal Stratford East & The Nottingham Playhouse is playing in Nottingham in March 2023, before touring to Ipswich New Wolsey, & The Royal Stratford East.

As a playwright he's worked with The Royal Stratford East, The Nottingham Playhouse, Ramps on the Moon, Arena Theatre Wolverhampton & The Royal & Derngate Theatre. He's a graduate of the Royal Court Writers Group and The Soho Writers Lab where he was nominated for the Soho Young Writers Award. He has also written multiple radio plays including 'We are in this Love Story' for BBC Arts. His audio play 'Oh for Fuck's Sake (im in love with you)' was produced by The Nottingham Playhouse.

As a director, Samson has been the resident director of Eton College & resident director of The Oxford Playhouse. Samson was also the trainee director of The Orange Tree Theatre where he directed the world premiere of Luke Barne's 'Katie Johnstone'.
Samson is currently a resident artist of Leicester Curve Theatre.
His work focuses on the modernization of the working-class theatrical traditions embodied with an accessible relaxed theatre ideal.
